Spy shots have recently been taken of a vehicle that could be a higher performance Range Rover Sport. It was seen on the Nurburgring and had larger air inlets on the fascia. These could be there to give a more potent driveline and provide more than the 510 horsepower that is available in the Sport models. It is therefore a possibility that it could be a Sport R model.
The 2014 Range Rover Sport is already pretty impressive though. It has a aluminium substructure meaning that it is a massive 800 pounds lighter compared to the previous model. Then together with the 5.0 litre V8 supercharged engine it is possible to reach 510 horsepower. More details will be published as they are made available.
