The convertible 2014 Volkswagen Beetle caught on cam without the top

Just a few months away from the official unveiling of the 2014 Volkswagen Beetle, this convertible model is going to make its debut on the Los Angele Auto Show. However, the curious ones and the lovers of this car wouldn’t take much to imagine what it could have and figure out the entire look. Our team of photographs managed to catch the testing with not so much of camouflage. The best thing about these snaps is that it lets us view the overall look of the cover, both from top and bottom. No surprises to see Volkswagen doing a good job by maintaining the unique and of course the bubbly kind of roofline. However, the good news is that the convertible 2014 Volkswagen Beetle is no longer giving an impression that it is wearing a baseball cap, having its top folded. The latest beetle convertible till now uses a cloth top, but has a done a better job in terms of the body, its folding. It gives a new and better look to the car.
Also, it is quite interesting to see the spy snaps of the test cars, which has a steel wheel. It has stylish and good looking hubcaps. The 2013 base model offers 17 inch alloy, which means the latest version will get more cost saving deals on the wheels.
Speaking of the powertrains, the convertible 2014 Volkswagen Beetle should be covering the base similar to its counterpart. The starting of course is a 2.5 liter I5. It steps up to sport a 299 hp turbo. Lastly, the fuel efficiency of this car is definitely going to be good.
