Spy pictures have been taken of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz V-Class while testing in the cold weather recently. This will be replacing the Viano and will have the same boxy shape but will have more of a passenger orientated design. The interior has been revealed already and looks improved with more premium materials being used compared to the Viano.
The engine details have not been revealed in full but it is expected that there will be a 4-cylinder diesel of 2.1 litres from the BlueEfficiency range. This will do 136hp minimum with 170hp and 190hp options possible too. It is expected that there will be 7 and 9 speed automatic options and an all-wheel drive design.
The company have plans to sell the V-class in showrooms as a passenger car to replace the R-class that has been a slow selling model, if you believe the rumours, that is.
