If you have a wedding or a prom to go to, then you should seriously consider looking into the 2013 Lincoln MKT limousine that was captured by spy photographers. The shape of the next stretch limo to come out by this company is about to change dramatically, and Lincoln is about to retire its Town Car for good. This full-size rear-wheel-drive mega car is going to finally retire. The Panther platform it’s working off of goes all the way back to when Jimmy Carter was president. Lincoln really need some car to substitute for it, and the MKT crossover is probably going to fill the role nicely.
Say “Goner” To The Town Car
It’s been long needed to have a replacement, and the rugged body-on-frame of the Town Car has been a special one of tax and limo companies for a lot of time. The MKT limo has been spotted by photographers, and it looks like it is still a work in progress. It has a very unusual-looking center, and it looks like it was borrowed from a Boeing jet or something. The nose on the prototype seems like it was taken from the MKT too. The new MKT looks a lot different, and it has a better grille and finer headlights.
There is no more 4.6-liter V-8 engine inside the Town Car. The MKT Limo is going to come with a 3.7-liter V-6, and it will be paired with a 6-speed automatic, and there will be some kind of choice of front or all-wheel drive included in the car. The Lincoln will probably have a version of the twin-turbocharged EcoBoost 3.5-liter V-6, and nothing has been officially selected yet. There are certainties, however, that the rear legroom will not ever be an issue.
