The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette is best known for its wedge shape and the premiere edition even comes in a festive green colour. There was a limited premiere edition of the C7 coupe and the Stingray Convertible has done the same thing. It is based on the 3LT highest specification trim level and also has wheel centre caps and door sill plates that are the same as the Premiere Coupe. There are additional options as well such as a variable exhaust, Magnetic Ride Control adaptive dampers and a Z51 performance package which are the same as are offered in the hardtop version. The colour is different though with the coupe having been bright blue, this is lime green with a brownstone top and cabin. There is a growing trend for green cars on the road so this will fit in well.
There will be 550 of these Premiere edition vehicles built which will be more than the coupe which was 500. There will be suede inside and it will come with a fitted luggage set with five pieces from Thule. The car will cost $77,450 which is around $5,000 more than the regular Z51 convertible with the same trim in the same colour. This is with all extras apart from the wheels and luggage. So you are not getting that much more for your money but many people will pay for the fact that it is exclusive and it is expected that they will all sell before the full run is built.
