This Kia prototype was spied recently. It is about the size of a subcompact crossover, which makes sense since Kia does not currently compete in the subcompact segment, which is very popular at this time. Once it is released, it will compete with Mazda’s CX-3, Honda’s HR-V, and Jeep’s Renegade to name only a few. You might say that the Kia Soul is their subcompact, but it is just a bit larger and lower to the ground than something in that segment. The Kia subcompact crossover should come standard with front-wheel drive, and offer all-wheel drive as an option as well. An automatic transmission is likely to be the only available transmission. Still very little is known about the crossover, but it is on it’s way.
