The new Alfa Romeo 4C is just starting to be tested and a video has been uploaded on to YouTube showing an interesting test. A prototype of the car has been filmed in adverse weather conditions sliding when being tested, skidding on some grass and hitting a sign. This is not the most promising of films of prototype cars, but it is felt that the weather played a big factor in the accident rather than it being a problem with the car. It is still in early testing stages though and so there is plenty of time for improvements to be made.
The new car will be featuring a 1.8 litre four cylinder engine that will be turbo charged. It will be capable of 3900 bhp but it is likely that it will not have that much capability in the 4C model. It is expected to definitely have dual-clutch transmission and so will be able to accelerate from 0-100 in just five seconds and have a top speed of up to 155mph.
