The new BMW 7 series looks like it will be quite different on the inside if the latest spy photos are anything to go by. There are three pictures and from them it can be seen that the plastic buttons will be replaced by chrome for the audio controls, iDrive and HVAC. These look very pretty. It also looks like there will be haptic touch controls for some of the HVAC systems as well. The 7 series interior was okay, but not quite up to the standards of the Mercedes-Benz S-class or the Audi A8. This therefore looks like the manufacturers are looking to bring the model up to scratch and compete with them. It also looks to have a pop-up wide navigation screen and have the latest infotainment system. There are also details of the new laser headlights in the pictures. It is thought that these will be an extra with LED lights being the standard ones. They will be either side of a pair of kidney grilles and these should give the model a sportier look. There is still no sight of changes at the back of the car as these are all covered up, but it is thought that there will be more angular lights there. It is thought that the car will debut in the second half of next year which could be at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
