Facelifted Porsche Panamera Spotted in Testing

The Porsche Panamera has been pictured during testing in Nurburgring. The car is now in its final stages of testing and it looks to have changed in appearance.
The front bumper looks more square and has the same intake shapes as the Cayman. It has daytime running LED’s on the bumper and they will move to the top of the intakes along with the indicators, in the same way that the 991 has. The test model has the reshaped headlights but the rear ones are in the old style, but that will change.
The car looks to have very nasty looking exhausts but this implies that changes are being made. According the CAR magazine it will have a new engine, the old Panamera S 4.8 V8 will be replaced with a twin turbo V6. This will reduce the cylinder count somewhat but it will mean that the horsepower will increase from 398 to 420. There will also be a bigger torque value as well. It is expected that the range will remain the same as the current line up with everything from the diesel to the Turbo S versions.
It is expected that the car could be seen at the Shanghai Motor Show in April, but there is a chance it may wait until Frankfurt in September.
