General Motors have announced that they will be changing the release date for the Chevrolet Cruze to the end of 2015 but these latest spy shots show that it seems to be well along in its development despite that. The pictures of the compact sedan show the inside as well as the outside for the very first time.
The pictures of inside show that the car is likely to be similar to the new redesigns of the 2014 Chevy Impala, Corvette stingray and Malibu. The two pod gauge cluster is a lot slimmer than the current version of the Chevrolet Cruze and the steering wheel has three spokes. This makes the car look more stylish that the current version. The centre stack is very eye catching as well. The display for navigation looks larger and closer. The buttons below the touchscreen seem to be less, with there looking to be 23 compared to 40 on the current car. There are also some intriguing buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. These are for cruise control and so could be adaptive cruise control or a lane departure warning.
The car is camouflaged and so it is hard to see what it might look like. A short deck lid, sloped nose and carb forward windscreen are all that can be seen under the heavy disguise.
