There have been sightings of the newly created model of the soon to come 2021 Ford Bronco, although the sightings of the model show the Bronco with a camouflaged pattern to keep the design a secret until the release date. The glimpses that we have gotten of the new model reveal the prototype being taken off-road for it’s testing.
It is reported that the model may be equipped with an 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2.3-liter cylinder produces 270 hp along with 310 lb-ft of torque. Another option that may come with purchasing that 2021 Ford Bronco is a 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 as the 2.7-liter V6 produces about 325 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque. There are also rumors the model may contain manual transmission for both options of engines. Also, from observing the photos of the prototype, so far it appears that the model may feature a live rear axel with spring coils to assist in more extreme off-road conditions.
The link posted displays the camouflaged prototype of the 2021 Ford Bronco taking one of it’s test drives within Johnson Valley in California. The test drive takes place in the desert, but doing more research can lead you to more recent photos of the prototype taking one of it’s test drives to the snow.
Keep your eyes and ears open for more teasers and information as the reveal of the new 2021 Ford Bronco is expected to come around this Spring of 2020 as the sales of the product will most likely come closer to the end of the year.. You will know you have seen it when you see it’s bulky, boxy style being taken off-road if you haven’t gotten yours right away.
