Remember, the current managing director of Mercedes-AMG, Tobias Moers had said that this model would be ready for sale this year. Tobias made this promise in 2014. It is likely that the auto-manufacturer will introduce it this year as a model for 2019. Here are some of its features.

Comparison with AMG Vehicles
The GT Black Series has a V8 4.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 630hp and 664 pound-feet of torque. In contrast, the GT R has 577hp and 516 pound-feet of torque. Another notable difference, when compared to the GT R, is the exhaust pipe.

More specially, the GT Black Series model has two exhaust pipes on either side of the vehicle. The GT R has one centrally located exhaust pipe. Other notable features that set apart this vehicle from GT R models include aerodynamic enhancements, race-bred suspension, and weight reduction. It also had an angrier look than most GT R versions have.

Moreover, careful examination of the spy video revealed that the car Mercedes-AMG was testing had a plexiglass rear windshield.

Comparison with Vehicles from Other Companies

Porsche and Ferrari have made similar vehicles to this one. The Volkswagen subsidiary unveiled the 911 GT2 RS at the 2017 Xbox-E3 Briefing while Ferrari had started selling the 488 in 2016. It is likely that the GT Black Series model will compete effectively with both of them. It is even possible that it will outdo the Porsche 911 GT2 RS in both sales and engine performance.
