This 2018 Lamborghini Huracán Superleggera prototype was spied recently, testing around the Nürburgring.
If you look closely, you’ll notice the extra aero around the front bumper, a massive rear wing, and an exhaust system that’s similar to the one on the Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo race car.
Superleggera is Italian for “super-light”, so any new Superleggera version of the Huracán will have to feature some weight-saving modifications. These include a stripped-out cabin and increased use of carbon fiber. Tweaks to the suspension, steering and transmission are also possible as well.
Engine and Performance:
Expect to see a slight power increase to 611 horsepower, approximately 10 more horsepower than the regular Huracán LP.
The 2018 Huracán Superleggera should make its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March, 2017.
