Here it is, the AMG version of the new and upcoming Mercedes A-Class. These first photos show that the AMG version will get most of those typical AMG changes compared to the normal cars, like upgraded brakes and wheels, bigger air intakes in the front bumper and bigger exhaust pipes. If there will be just 2 fat pipes, or if there will be the more typical quad layout is still not clear at this point.
But it definitely sounds much better than the normal A-Class prototypes we have seen. Power is expected to be around 320 up to 350 sent via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to all four wheels. This will be enough to give the Audi RS3 and the BMW 1-series M Coupe a hard life. This time we noticed that the testers have a VW Golf R to benchmark against the A-Class AMG prototype.
