2013 Chevrolet Impala Spied

Chevrolet Impala’s have been known for their police usage. However, now it is getting a major overhaul.  Even the current models have engines that are able to stay in the competition. Not to mention the fact that this brand is comfortable and quiet which makes it the perfect car for long distant drives. Then there is also the fact that the exterior has not excitement to it. But, based on what we have been able to spy we can see that the Impala has a lot of surprises and changes available for its fans.
For starters, that front fascia that we have grown so fond of is no longer going to be available. From looking at the test mule that is featured in the pictures we can already see that the grille and the headlights are larger, bolder and more upright. Unless our vision is playing tricks on us we would have to say that by looking at the front it could easily be confused as a Camaro or possibly even the Sonic sedan and hatchback. Then, when we take a glimpse at the back it appears to have the same taillights as the 2012 Malibu sedan. Also, we can see the trapezoidal shaped tailpipes peeking out from under the rear bumper.
We are expecting the Impala to have front wheel and all-wheel drive applications.  Also, we feel as though the engine base will be the new turbo charged 2.0 liter 4 cylinders from General Motor. However, we also feel that it will keep the smooth 3.6 liter V-6 but an eAssist mild hybrid may be added in down the line as well. We have been told that we can expect this Impala to be ready for sale at the beginning of the year 2013.
