2012 Seat Ibiza

We have finally been able to catch a glimpse of the 2012 Seat Ibiza. We have seen both the 3 and 4 door hatchback tearing up the roads. For those who do not know the pronunciation of “Seat” is “say-aht” and it is the Spanish variation of the Volkswagen. This model is available in various forms of economy and sports models. However, currently they are now mostly found in Europe, Central and South America, and Asia. The sub compact Ibiza seems to be the top selling model at the moment.
A Volkswagen Sub-Compact for the States?
This model has been on the market for several years now and the manufactures think that it is time for it to be refreshed. From the photos we can see the Ibiza will know have a mature front fascia, a rectangular shaped grille and even an upgraded lower air intake. From some of the photos it even seems as though it is also equipped with LED headlights.
In the European countries the Ibiza is available with a wide selection of engines. They range from the gasoline powered 1.2 liter 3 cylinder to even the 2.0 liter 5 cylinder TDI diesel. This Ibiza is also coming from the same platform as some U.S. sold models so we do feel as though there is a possibility that this car will be introduced to the states as well.
