Here are the first photos of the Peugeot 508 Break or wagon as the rest of the world calls it. We have showed photos of the 508 sedan several times before and now it’s finally time for the wagon. From what we can see on the photos the wagon seems to follow the latest trends, more sporty looks, less space. But we can also clearly see the LED rear lights with its special design. The 508 will be the successor to both the 407 and 607 and will feature a three car lineup. First out will be the sedan and wagon and later third body version of the 508. The 508 will also be the first Peugeot that will show the French company’s new design language.
Engines will be all from petrol, diesel and even a diesel hybrid called Hybrid4. The first version of the Hybrid4 has a 163 bhp 2.0 litre HDi FAP engine linked to a 37 bhp electric motor. The combination produces 200 bhp, has an electric only mode and four-wheel drive when required. This system will make its first debut in the 3008 during 2011 but will soon follow to other models.
