Photographers have seen the new generation Toyota Aygo for the first time. It is expected that it will be launched next year.
Last year Toyota gave the Aygo a facelift and they are now replacing it. It is expected that this repacedment will be with dealers in the spring or summer of 2014. The spy shots show that it will be a five door model, like the previous one.
It will be a bit bigger than the current model though and the rear lights will be placed a bit higher. It is expected that the engine will be tweeked so that the 1.0 liter three cylinder engine will have more than the 67 bhp and 69 lb/ft of torque. It is expected that fuel consumption will be lower than the 64.2 mpg in UK terms that the current car has (that is equivalent to 53.4 mpg in the US). At the moment there are no details about a diesel engine.
