The new Suzuki Alto has been seen while having a photo shoot. It will be wearing the Celerio moniker when it is showcased in February at the Auto Expo in India. The photos show that it will have the same basic design as the A:Wind concept.
It is thought that it will be powered by a 1.0 litre petrol engine with cylinders that will manage 67 bhp and 66 lb/ft torque. There have also been rumours that there will be a diesel engine version as well but no details have been made available.
The A:Wind concept is 23600mm long, 1540mm tall and 1600mm wide and it has a stretched wheelbase as well compared to the outgoing car. This is 60mm smaller than the A:Wind which is 2425mm. The concept car was seen at the Thailand Motor Show and had 16 inch alloy wheels but it is expected that these will shrink in the production version to something more like 14 or 15 inches.
