This week, spies took car spy photos Toyota C-HR 2018 of the American version.
The European modification of the C-HR was presented last month at the Geneva automobile exhibition. And now the upcoming subcompact crossover is getting ready for the U.S. market where it will be available for purchase next spring as a model of 2018. The American modification was supposed to get the badge of Scion, but later the company decided to give it the logo of three superposed ellipses.
The interior design and the exterior of the automobile will stay the same as on the European model, however, the engines will be changed. Europeans can choose to have a turbocharged motor for 1.2 liters and 115 units of horsepower or a hybridized engine for 1.8 liters and 122 units of horsepower. In addition, in some countries, the company will be selling the C-HR with an engine for 2 liters that is naturally aspirated.
As for the American modification, it is said that perhaps only the naturally aspirated option will be available and it will work together with the infinitely variable transmission. The standard modification will have its power directed to the front shaft. For an additional price customers will be able to get a drive for all wheels.
