Citroen has released a gallery of pictures revealing that their cactus Concept will look like. They have also put a short press release with it which states that it is ‘more than a concept car’. This shows that it could be possible that there will be production model at the Frankfurt Motor Show and the fact that spy photographers have caught it testing in production trim, adds more to this theory.
The concept had a floating roof and airbumps and these have not been carried on to the new model. However, most other features look like there will be similar to what will be seen in the showroom. It will have a similar shape but the wheels are eight spoke, which is different to the four spoke ones of the concept car. The front end also looks different. The headlight design looks more conventional in the production version and there is something above them which is camouflaged and there is also some detail there on the concept car.
There are no shots of the cabin but it it is expected that it will not be that different to the concept car. The steering wheel, seat design, screen and overall look will probably be very much the same as the concept car. The press release states that there will be a hybrid powertrain and so this will be expected in the production model
