Not too long ago we reported on the upcoming Mercededs A25 AMG hot hatchback. There is now more proof that Daimler is constructing a new style of cars: the Mercedes B25 AMG prototypes.
Unfortunately, CAR’s investigative snoops say that while the B25 AMG is out being tested and evaluated, it won’t get signed off on to start undergoing production.
The speedy AMG hot hatchbacks that are coming up are a tantalizing beautiful sight.
Mercedes doesn’t think its new breed of small cars are very good at being sporty, per se. It all goes back to the old adage of the square peg in the round hole.
Alternatively, Mercedes is going to expand the bottom-end of their AMG line-up, and they have three different cars int he line-up: The A25, CLC25, and GLC25.
Those are just three versions of the A-class, CLC coupe, and baby GLC SUV in AMG form.
The total number of 25 series cars are going to be powered by a stunning new 340bhp 2.0-litre twin-scroll turbo four that is connected up to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
All that power is bridled with a 4Matic 4WD system that uses a Haldex VC unit.
