Shots have been taken of what looks like the new Chevrolet Cruze, while out doing some testing in the snow. It is hard to make out the picture, but it seems to more rounded and tidy at the front and have lower fenders. It also looks like the mirrors may be being revised or there is lots of camouflage in this area for another reason.
Door handles are now on the side of the car which leaves room for the rear to be longer. It has been rumoured that the car is on the D2XX platform which is going to replace the Theta and Delta platforms produced by General Motors. This means that the Cruze would be the first of many to get it, because it is planned to be used for many models and its predicted that GM will make 2.5 million units by 2018. It is expected that the new Cruze will start being made in the third quarter of 2014 in the Ohio Plant of GM.
