It’s a good time of the year for the engineers of Lexus. The first glance around Nürburgring is turning out to be an eye catcher. The current offering comes in a drop-to-drop format, for which it seems more like a case closed. The closer look however gives away a lot about the interiors, especially the roll cage and other important aspects. However, the items don’t jive as much, not an IS-F.
To let you know, IS-F has been an overdue, however it seems like Lexus no longer wants to wait. The recent updates coming from the competitors like BMW M3 sedan, Audi S4, makes on feel that an addition in the form of an IS-F convertible is not making any sense. But, possibly you may find it in the upcoming model.
More on the details:
Apart from the car’s roll cage, the quad exhaust seems not so good. It is more like a mismatch with the design on the bumper. There is the rear spoiler too on the trunk that catches your eye. There isn’t much that you can find on this one. Except for the IS-F, you will not find any further bold features.
It is indeed interesting to see whether Lexus maintains the old designs and features or opts for something new. For example, it would be nice to note if it would go with 416-bhp 5.0-liter V-8 engine or go with something else. 416-bhp 5.0-liter V-8 engine could work for a fuel-efficient version. No matter what Lexus decides, the revised versions for the IS range as well as the IS-F are up to appear at the Detroit Show in 2013. It is going to be held in early part of January and the sales in the U.S. will follow in the next year.
