Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will be expanding its line of cars. It is already known that it will be bringing out new crossovers, but now it looks as though there will be more cabrios as well. A while ago the CLK was their only four seater convertible but now there is the E-Class convertible and soon there will be an S-class and C-class to join it.
The C-class has been spied in testing and looks like it is very close to being completed. It does have a lot of swirly disguise, which is what tend sto be put on vehicles that are near to production, but it does mean it is hard to see what is going on. There is a hardtop on this car but it is expected that there will be a fabric roof on the production one.
It looks like this new car will join its family, which already has a sedan, wagon and coupe, next summer and will have the same options for engines as the fixed roof cars.
