This Aston Martin prototype was spied recently. It appears that Aston Martin is making a roadster version of the one-off Vantage GT12 unveiled unexpectedly earlier this year for a very lucky customer. It was created by Aston’s Q customization division. Rumor, and these photos suggest that Aston Martin has decided to make, and is hard-core testing a limited run of a Vantage GT12 Roadster. This rumor can be justified, because the one-off Vantage GT12 was received with very positive attention. Rumor also suggests that the Vantage GT12 Roadster will be powered by 6.0 liter V12 engine that powers the regular Vantage Coupe, delivering 600 horsepower, and 461 pound-feet of torque through a seven speed transmission. 0-60 time should result in 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of about 200 mph. It should also be carrying an updated suspension and chassis. Handling should be similar to the regular Vantage Coupe that the GT12 is based on. This is still an early prototype form, but we should hear more about this prototype in the near future.
