I would like to think Porsche is only using that rear to determine spoiler profiling, but you never know…

The whole car looks awful to me, and is surprising that Porsche would give in and ditch their classic profile in pursuit of dynamics when they have persevered with, and all but conquered much despite the drawbacks of the RR layout.

I don’t believe Porsche could afford to do away with the 911′s iconic profile. Cars of this niche can’t follow function over form, particularly when such a zealous and cult like admiration of their product exists.

It seems like a typically German thing to do, but complete folly in terms of marketing. They’re making road going semi exotica, not a purpose first race vehicle where style falls well down the priority list.

This thing looks like an old Celica or Supra ran into the back of a Porsche, and knocked it’s dentures half out.

Being the underdog, in terms of dynamic advantage, and overcoming through technical dedication, offering a vehicle that is enjoyable and exciting in the way that it offers a totally unique learning environment for your senses – these things, to me, are Porsche 911, and so is that slippery smooth silhouette.

Don’t ditch it, even if it means playing second fiddle to a GTR, please..!?
