The 2013 Skoda Octavia was almost recognized.
The Rapid heavily impacts on the evolutionary design of the prototype car. A sloping roofline, a big grille and a popular character line, which runs between the headlights and taillights, are the prominent highlights of the car. According to the former reports, the Octavia car will specifically ride on the MQB platform, which now supports the Volkswagen Golf, Seat Leon and Audi A3. Though this car is about 250 mm larger, all the above changes will decrease the weight of the car when compared to its predecessor.
The Golf will possibly provide engine options, like 2.0-liter TDI with 150 HP, a 1.6-liter TDI with 105 HP, a 1.4-liter TSI with 140 HP and a 1.2-liter TSI with 105 HP, to the car.
In November, the Octavia car will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show.
