BMW began road tests new hybrid SUV Coupe X6 ActiveHybrid.

The high dome on the bonnet of a bi-modal hybrid gasoline-electric engine, which BMW engineers developed jointly with GM and Daimler companies. The new engine allows you to make 20% – of improving fuel economy.

According to some sources,  new BMW X6 hybrid will appear in the middle of next year as a model in 2010

    I saw this concept car on Auto Center Drive in Irvine, CA yesterday (30 April 2008).

    Very slick. From afar, it’s obviously a BMW but the rear windows and rounded trunk threw me!
